Children's Aid Society has been helping build families through adoption since its first adoptive placement in 1912. Healthy adoptions is our primary business, with the best interest of the child always at the heart of our work. Children's Aid Society has made parents of those who otherwise may have never realized their dream of sharing their lives with children, and we have helped countless birth parents make loving plans for their children and move on toward their goals. We have been here for all members of the adoption triad as they have encountered adoption and grief issues, often long after the files have been closed and stowed away.
