Q. Can I choose a family for my baby?
A. Yes. You can choose from a register of couples who have been screened and approved by CAS. To see the families who are waiting to adopt please visit our Family Registry.. We can also help you if you have already chosen an acquaintance with whom you may wish to place your baby (See Designated Adoption).
Q: After the adoption, will I ever see my baby again?
A: CAS encourages openness in relationships between adoptive families and birth parents. The openness in your adoption would be negotiated between you and the adoptive family. Occasional visits with birth parents and the adoptive family are not uncommon. At the very least, you will receive a letter and pictures every year until your child turns 18. You are welcome to write letters in return.
